Eureka Market evolved directly from Ozark Country Market, established in 1992 with a 10-year history as a natural foods retailer. The original location of Ozark Country Market had a 30-year history as a local outlet for fresh produce as Tharp’s Open Air Market. After being acquired by Sam & Megan Kirk in 2002, Ozark Country Market was relocated to 121 East Van Buren as the Eureka Market at the Quarter in a six-week build-out and a one-week relocation. |

-- After spending several years in biomedical research, Sam went into the food service business doing restaurant development with his family before reuniting with his high school sweetheart, Megan. They shared their love and passion for health and natural sciences before embarking on their dream to build their own timberframe home on twenty-acres immediately adjacent to Eureka Springs in the Ozark Mountains in Northwest Arkansas.

-- Megan spent her academic years studying anthropology, native diets and herbalism, before spending nearly ten years in the natural food industry and teaching nature education, herbalism and high-adventure. Megan continues to educate others through her in-store customer service and monthly newsletters, while raising her two daughters, Heidi & Chloe with her husband Sam.

Special Orders
A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of any order placed in the store. All online Special Orders require full payment by credit card at the time of orders. If your order is not picked up within 2 weeks of notification by phone or e-mail, non perishable products will be returned to the shelf at the regular price or returned to the vendor subject to a restocking charge. Perishable products will be donated to charitable causes or local business partners.
